TOUCH N TASTE Restaurant and Lounge
Touch n Taste is located at 8 West Boundary Street, California, Couva. It features a modern chic dining experience located in the hub of the Energy Capital (Point Lisas) of Trinidad and Tobago. Touch n Taste offers an international menu with leanings toward modern American and Cantonese cuisine. Their bar experience is characterized by both cutting edge mixology and classic cocktails. Their lunch and dinner menu are out of this world, for those of you who love to try new dishes, this is the place to be. There are four levels which include dining, banquet hall, maldives lounge and table 6 sky lounge.

The above picture is the maldives lounge, I had whisky and coconut water drink (I am not the cocktail and shots type of guy). The ambiance is uniquely brilliant, no other sports bar compete with Touch n Taste on this category (design and architecture), this is a family oriented atmosphere. I saw some cocktails the waiter was delivering to other patrons and the presentation was amazing. On special occasions such as valentine's day, fathers day and mothers day..etc... they usually have specialty menus and offers. Touch n Taste will wow your taste buds and satiate your appetite.

Steel Restaurant and Lounge is situated in South Park Mall San Fernando. This restaurant is probably the most recently opened sports bar in Trinidad. Their cuisine include American, West Indian, Chinese and Italian dishes. Approaching the entrance, the bouncers were routinely checking patrons identification cards (LOL) and then I remembered its summer vacation. The upstairs (deck) is huge with open air seating, we visited on a Friday night, so it was packed. Music was pumping, televisions screens were sufficient, you had the option of dining inside or a more quiet experience inside: which had a full restaurant. Ambiance was above average: design and layout. The seating accommodation was substantial, tables were placed at specific locations on the outside deck for those which chose to stand. Steel boasts a wide variety of both local and international beers and hard liquors, the wrap around bar was the highlight (in my opinion). We had the pepper chicken and spicy chicken...
Double H Recreational Club is located at Southern Main Road Cunupia, if proceeding towards Chin Chin Junction in a Southernly direction from Warrenville side it is directly opposite the savannah on your right side (this is before the Cunupia Police Station). I took my first drink of hard liquor in this bar (White Oak: BTW I drink mostly beers now). Parking is sufficient though patrons usually park on the savannah side and walk across when their front park is full. Ambiance is good enough for a economy bar, it has an extra large televsion screen looks like 72 inches I don't think they ever had any cutters, maybe boil channa a couple of times. But when you have a chinese restaurant next door you are not obligated to sell any cutters (this is a smart move), get high first and then to the restaurant to eat. Seating is sufficient with tables located both outside and inside. When seated outside, you have the savannah as a good view and in the night the lights in savannah automa...
Chaquacabana beach resort is located at LP165, Western Main Road, Diego Martin (More accurately, drive to tip of chaguaramas before the army base on the left side). It is a beach resort, in which you have to be a member to enter but I told them we were having drinks by the bar area ONLY. This is absolutely not a sports bar with not ONE television by the bar. But I can guarantee the view is beyond words at this bar. The bar area was small with seating for about 10 guests but AGAIN THE VIEW . As you can see that is the view from inside the bar area when looking outwards. On the deck there are chairs, tables and umbrellas along with the kitchen area. All the yatchs, fisher folks, ships and cruises were in full view. Clouds soon came and became gloomy but in an hour all cleared and the sun came out in full radiance. Music was electronic dance music (more geared towards an international vibe rather than local), but we requested some spanish music and they changed it (we we...
